About the diner
Let It Ride Poker is a small website with one main purpose: to give adults somewhere calm to learn Let It Ride, a casino card game that is easy to start and has more depth than it first appears, without spending a penny.
Why Let It Ride?
Most people meet the game for the first time at a casino table, where there is little room to ask questions and every hand costs money. Here you can play as slowly as you like, switch on a hint that does the maths for your exact cards, and read why each decision is right or wrong. If you never play in a casino at all, it is still a pleasant puzzle about probability.
Why a diner?
Picture a chrome-trimmed diner on an empty highway: a stool at the counter, a slice of cherry pie, a jukebox in the corner. It felt like the right mood for a relaxed card game. Nobody is hurrying you, the coffee refills are free, and so are the coins.
What we promise
- No real money, ever. There is nothing to buy and nothing to cash out. Coins are virtual, have no value and are not cryptocurrency.
- No prizes. Nothing you do here can be exchanged for goods, vouchers or anything else of real-world value.
- Honest games. Let It Ride uses the real casino rules and pay table with a fresh 52-card shuffle every hand. The two side games publish their full odds, worked out exactly.
- Adults only. The site is for people aged 18 and over, and we ask before you play.
- Very little data. No accounts on a server, no tracking cookies, no adverts on the pages. Your nickname and coins live in your own browser.
